You were pure joy in our lives and could always make me laugh out loud. The biggest lapdog you could possibly imagine, always wanting to be the little spoon, tucked in close at bedtime.

You tried so hard to be gentle and affectionate… although that often came with a fat lip or a bloody nose thanks to your enthusiasm. That was just you — all heart, all the time. You were my gateway into the performance dog world. We learned together, made our mistakes, and figured it out as we went. And what a ride it was.

Your three favourite things? Food… food… and more food.

Not a day goes by that I don’t think of you and smile.
